FOR this Ramadan, Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur is inviting you to ‘berbuka puasa’ in their Dondang Sayang Coffee House with some exclusively prepared dishes by an internationally acclaimed chef, amongst their extensive Buka Puasa buffet spread.
Celebrity chef Datuk Ismail Ahmad, who is well known for his Malay heritage cuisine, will put his special touch to the buffet spread by showcasing his signature dishes of different states such as Ayam Percik Kelantan, Gulai Lemak Rebung Daging Salai Negri Sembilan and Bee Hoon Sup Utara.
“This is a very good opportunity to try authentic kampung delicacies at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur,” said Ismail.
“This is the second year I am preparing my signature dishes for the hotel. Last year, we received very good response from the customers. ,” he said.
In addition to that, feast on more than 90 authentic favourites from the buffet and live cooking stations such as Ikan Bakar Pak Raja, Bubur Lambuk, Ayam Panggang Para Kuah Perak, Daging Masak Kawah, Beef and Chicken Satay, Shawarma and as well as a whole succulent Barbecued Lamb marinated with the chef’s special sauces.
For those who are ‘home away from home’, Corus-themed hawker stalls will be offering popular delicacies from Kedah, Kelantan, Penang, Negri Sembilan and Sarawak.
Those with a penchant for sweets, indulge in a wide variety of traditional desserts such as Kuih Lompang, Puteri Mandi, Lompat Tikam, Putu Piring and Abok-Abok, to name a few .
The Ramadan Buka Puasa Buffet is priced at RM89++ per adult and RM45++ per child.
Their Ramadan Buka Puasa Bonus includes a 50% discount off the normal buffet price from Aug 26 to 29 and 20% discount off the normal buffet price from Aug 6 to 25.
Buffet sahur is also available for in-house guests and also for those who are pressed for time to prepare a good meal for the family before the start of fast for the day.
