HEY folks, today is an auspicious day.
It marks the launch of the Food Trail book by Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen.
For this, I am proud to say that four year’s worth of work have been compiled into a 160-page book that can be used as a reference to find some good makan places around the Klang Valley.
The Food Trail column began in 2008 and I painstakingly put together a selection of makan places around Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya for the book.
I would like to thank The Star and the Tourism Ministry for supporting this project that took nearly a year to complete.
A hearty Terima Kasih too goes out to artist Mohd Adznam Sabri who designed the book, Hassan Bahari for the awesome cover illustration, head artist Tung Eng Hwa for his creative input and encouragement, the entire StarMetro team who I have had the pleasure of working with, staff and heads from all relevant departments whom I had the pleasure dealing with.
Lastly, this book goes out to all you readers, for without your continuing support, the project would not be possible.
