STICKING to its tradition of offering delicious Mother’s Day spread, Beacon Point in Ipoh has once again drawn up a set menu which will surely delight mum and everyone else in the family.

Offered either as lunch or dinner, the meal starts off with a soup — cream of pumpkin and almond, served with garlic bread. Rich and thick, this soup combines the sweetness of the pumpkin and almond to bring you a delightfully light, yet creamy starter.

After that, you can choose from three sizzling main courses.

If you like poultry, the sizzling roast USA turkey is served with chestnut, bread and herb stuffing, accompanied by cranberry sauce, roasted potatoes, a vegetable medley and corn on the cob.

For those who prefer lamb, there is the osso bucco lamb shank, with the soft, tender chunks covered with savoury gravy; while fish connoisseurs will absolutely love the Cajun style salmon steak served with strawberry mint relish, both also served with vegetables and corn as well.

And for dessert, there is the aptly named Queen of My Heart, which is a strawberry chocolate heart cream puff, to sweeten the meal.

The meals are priced between RM39.90 and RM49.90, depending on the selection of the main course.

Whipped up by Chef Pang Sung Moe, lunch will be served from 11am to 3pm while dinner is from 6.30pm to 10pm.

Beacon Point’s usual breakfast and tea offerings as well as a selection of its daily a’la carte menu will be available as well.
