The Ritz Garden Hotel’s Ritz Recipe in Jalan Yang Kalsom, Ipoh, has come up with a buffet lunch which is extremely good value and at the same time easy on the wallet.
Priced at only RM13.90+, customers can just breeze in, pick up a plate and select their choice of food.
Specially catered for the working lunch crowd, there’s steaming white rice, curry, vegetables, meat or fish. Customers can also opt for a simple meal of pasta and salad.
Just one visit, or two, to the buffet table, will be sufficient to satisfy the tummy rumblings and the desires of the palette for the afternoon.
Those with longer lunch hours can also choose to start with a soup and a simple salad before going for the mains. There’s a choice of fresh garden salads, coleslaw, or local greens such as ulam with sambal belacan.
For a local lunch, there’s rice, or fried vermicelli or noodles, to go with the chicken rendang, chilli fish, grilled fish, or even the crab masala which are perfect with a serving of mixed vegetables.
There are also Western offerings, such as fish with lemon butter, chicken chop and pasta.
Then to complete a fulfilling lunch, slices of fruit, jelly or creamy ice cream await. There are also local desserts such as red bean soup and traditional kuih.
The buffet line may not as be extensive as other buffets but it has enough varieties to delight and fulfill as the menu changes daily.
Available from Monday to Friday (except on public holidays), it is served from noon to 3pm.
