This Ramadan, Prince Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur is offering a wide selection of traditional Malaysian delights.
Themed “Balik Kampung” buffet dinner, the Eccucino Restaurant offers diners more than a hundred local and international dishes to choose from.
The highlights in the wide spread are clearly the local dishes, many of which are signature dishes from various states.
“We wanted to give our diners a treat,” said Eccucino chef de cuisine Jason Manson.
Eccucino has also been decorated with traditional Malay elements as well as flowers and is a festive sight.
The kampung feel is also evident at the stalls, like that serving bubur lambuk, as it has an attap roof.
A band playing ghazal music is also present.
Among the array of dishes are kerabu pucuk paku, chicken and beef rendang, lemang, rendang tok, roti canai, satay and ais kacang.
There is also a stall offering five different types of laksa, such as Penang Asam Laksa and Sarawak Laksa.
The nasi kandar spread is also impressive, with so many dishes to choose from. Among the international dishes, the shawarma grill station is a must visit as the chicken meat is succulent and tasty.
Eccucino also offers a wide selection of desserts, featuring traditional Malay kuih among others. It also serves apam balik, one of Malaysia’s favourite roadside stall treats.
The Balik Kampung buffet dinner is available at Eccucino every night from 6.30pm to 10.30pm between July 9 and Aug 8.
Prince Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur is offering a special early bird price of RM78++ per person from July 9 to 15. The normal price is RM108++ per person. Children below the age of 12 eat free for every paying adult.
