KLANA Resort Seremban is inviting couples who want a cosy night out this Valentine’s Day to dine in its Cascades lobby lounge.
The lounge area with its cascading ‘waterfall’ will be transformed into a romantic setting to get couples in the mood for love.
Hotel public relations manager Jini Sebastian said seating capacity was limited to only 30 couples to create a more comfy environment for guests.
“We decided to hold Valentine’s Day dinner at the lounge as it is cosy and private. A great place to unwind and relax,” she said.
Diners will be serenaded to romantic tunes by husband and wife duo – Crystal Ball, who have been in the entertainment business for over two decades.
For RM180++ per couple, guests can expect a four-course Western meal with a rose each for the ladies.
The menu for the day features fresh and unique flavour combinations including the delicious Banana Cheesecake with Mango Sauce for dessert which we got to sample recently.
Sous chef Muhazlim Yahaya will be serving Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup followed by a Salmon Terrine and Mesclun Salad with Honey Horseradish Cream for starters.
“We wanted our Valentine’s Day dinner to be simple and not too fussy — with quality ingredients.
“The meal showcases fresh flavours that will sure be a hit with diners. For instance, fresh airflown Norwegian salmon will be used for the terrine and complemented by a mesclun salad with a sharp but pleasant honey horseradish sauce,” he said.
For the main course, Muhazlim and his team have decided to feature Grilled Rack of Lamb with a Breadcrumb and Mustard Crust accompanied by either mushroom or black pepper sauc e depending on which the customer prefers.
“Don’t worry if lamb is not your thing, we have other options available including chicken, beef or fish which will be grilled to your liking,” said the chef.
Chocolate pralines will also be served at the Valentine’s Day dinner which begins at 7.30pm.
