IF YOU are on the hunt for a whopping Malaysian-style burger, head to Darabif Burgers restaurant.
The fast-food brand offers burgers that are usually available at street stalls, only thicker and more wholesome.
Having tasted some of the burgers at the Darabif outlet at IOI Mall Puchong, the brand walks its talk.
Darabif offers two types of meat — mean and lean. Mean is juicy and tasty, while the lean is for the health-conscious and high in protein.
All patties, regardless of the type, are made of 100% genuine meat.
The quintessential piece of teh Darabif concept is the Malaysian Moo burger.
It is a beef burger with an egg wrap, topped with a slice of cheese, shredded cabbage and tangy sauce.
Hot Chick is the burger with a chicken patty topped with chicken bacon and cheddar cheese.
The vegetables are fresh onion and lettuce.
A gem here is the Lamb Glam burger. It is a must-try for meat lovers as the lamb meat is juicy and cooked to perfection.
It is topped with barbecue sauce and dressed with lettuce and onion.
If that were not splendid and localised enough, try their lamb burger with a special ingredient — tandoori sauce!
The one-of-a-kind gourmet burger is named Lamb’orghini has flavourful and authentic tandoori taste in its sauce.
The Lamb’orghini is a seasonal offering and is only available for a limited time.
Every burger can be ordered with double patties and every set comes with a soft drink and French fries.
Darabif operations manager Norman Wilfred Ratnayake said burgers at Darabif were gourmet burgers that suited the Malaysian tastes.
“We serve burgers in street style but with better and healthier ingredients.
“Everything is Malaysian-made and guaranteed 100% halal. We have satisfied customers who keep coming back for our burgers,” he said.
He added that Darabif had received good feedback and would be opening more outlets across the country to cater to demand.
“The will be more items introduced for the street-burger lovers out there,” Ratnayake said.
Darabif also sells its premium patties at major hypermarkets, in two weights — 75g (junior) and 100g (regular).
