DEVELOPING a reputation for serving delicious hot and spicy pork ribs, 42East took an innovative approach and hosted a Mexican night recently for its patrons to savour all things Mexican.
Themed “Tequila Heaven”, Mexican tequila Jose Cuervo took centre stage and mixed in four different concoctions and complemented with delicious Mexican staples such as nachos, guacamole, tortilla and jalapeno fritters.
Pioneer bartender Timothy Jason Antony made a special appearance that evening to whip up the tequila mixes.
General manager Sebastian Kam said they are committed to giving fun opportunities to customers to try new cuisine and thus decided on Mexican cuisine.
“We want to share the world with our customers and there is no better place to start than from Mexico. Mexicans are notoriously particular about their flavours. They even have sauces made up from over 30 different ingredients to bring out flavourful dishes.
Two months into its opening, 42East hosts themed nights to add variety with football being the main focus in April.
42East is open everyday from 4pm and is located at 42, Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
