G HOTEL’S delectable Ramadan Fiesta buffet spices up buka puasa gatherings with mouth-watering Malaysian favourites and Middle Eastern flavours.

And diners have the choice of two stylish venues in Penang to savour the heartwarming feasts with loved ones and friends this special month.

The spreads are laid out from 6.30pm to 10.30pm daily at Taste Cafe of G Hotel Gurney, and on Fridays and Saturdays at the Spoon Cafe of G Hotel Kelawai.

Weaving their culinary magic across the respective outlets’ kitchens are vastly experienced executive sous chefs Ketut Gede Dodi and Ong Ban Khoon.

They have come up with cohesive yet distinct menus for the buffets, with multiple rotations so there is always something different.

“The lineup focuses on local classics, with some Arabian touches.

“There are also action stations where you’ll see us and our team, cooking for you,” said Dodi.

Taste’s starters are Malay staples like Ulam, Kerabu Perut Lembu, Kerabu Udang, Soto Ayam Mardura or the must-have Bubur Lambuk Telur Masin.

The carving station offers premium meats like the Roast Lamb, marinated with kampung-style spices, that has crispy skin hiding tender, juicy meat within.

For desserts, there are the highly addictive Durian Mousse, along with Pandan Kaya Cake, Sweet Corn Pudding, Franzipane and gelato.
