DO you love Belgian beers? Well, don’t miss out on the ongoing exclusive Belgian Beer Festival promotions at Brussels Beer Café!
Throughout the 10-day festival, beer-lovers will get a chance to taste some of the leading Belgian beer brands such as Stella Artois, Leffe, Grimbergen, BelleVue and Hoegaarden at special prices, and also have the option of pairing these great beers with specially prepared food, all designed to enhance your enjoyment.
The launch of the event on Tuesday at the Brussels Beer Café Jaya One branch also featured the introduction of the Hoegaarden Rosée, a delicate, sweet fruit beer that is like a combination of the classic Hoegaarden and a traditional Belgian fruit beer.
Throughout the festival, you also stand a chance to win a limited-edition giant three-litre Hoegaarden glass by participating in a Facebook contest (http://on.fb.me/Memwyg).
The Belgian Beer Festival is jointly organised by Luen Heng F&B Sdn Bhd (LHFB), a subsidiary of Carlsberg Malaysia, in collaboration with Brussels Beer Café, and will be on till June 16 at Brussels Beer Café branches in Menara Hup Seng (KL), Ampang, Jaya One and Sunway Pyramid.
History launched
Colder than ice – that’s how cold the beers at the newly launched History Café And Bistro are. They’re served at two degrees below zero – now that’s a cold beer.
Located in the up-and-coming township of Setia Alam, History prides itself on serving the coldest draught beer in Malaysia thanks to special technology invented by Asahi, Japan’s No.1 beer.
This system works especially well for beers like Asahi Super Dry and Carlsberg, as the super-cold temperature greatly enhances the dryness and bite that Asahi Super Dry is famous for, as well as the unique full malt flavour of Carlsberg.
History also serves a selection of other beers on tap, including Grimbergen, Hoegaarden, Erdinger and Connor’s Stout, as well as imported beers in bottles such as Stella Artois, Kronenbourg 1664, Konig Ludwig and Franziskaner.
History Café And Bistro is located at 1-2 Block 1, Setia Avenue, Jalan Setia Prima (S) U13/S, Setia Alam Seksyen U13, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Called the Tom, Dick & Harry’s A “Mou Man Tai” Life Run, TDH has pledged RM10 to the MAF for every participant who joins the run.
The RM40 participation fee includes an exclusive TDH T-shirt and pre-run drinks, and it also entitles you to a free flow of drinks after the run (while stocks last).
The run, to be held on July 1 at 5pm, will be flagged off from TDH’s Taman Tun Dr Ismail branch (18, Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, TTDI, Kuala Lumpur). For further information, visit TDH’s Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/Loway6
