There are a wide selection of outlets to go to when it comes to breaking fast.
As the norm, various hotels will be competing to tempt diners with their own unique and sumptuous buffet spread.
At the Legend Resort Cherating here, the O’las Patio function hall is one good venue.
Offering some 120 dishes including traditional fare, diners will be spoilt for choice.

Resort manager G. Siva Ram said this year, they had adopted the theme “Citarasa Pantai Timur.”
Siva Ram said the signature dish — Seafood Kava with Ulam Sauce — would be top on the menu of their open-air action stalls.
“Supervised by our operations manager and former chef Soh Poh Hua, the special ulam sauce is prepared using a range of ingredients such as Chinese parsley, ginger flower, ginger, freshly chopped garlic, kaffir lime leaves, cili padi, plum sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and fish sauce.
“The sauce will then be mixed with an array of seafood comprising fresh prawns, crabs, squids and mussels in a large kava or cooking pan,” he said.
Other steaming hot dishes available are Gear Box Soup, Ayam Percik, Ikan Bakar, Laksa Pahang, satay and murtabak.
“We will also serve festive specialities such as Roasted Whole Lamb from New Zealand, Mexican Fajitas, Chicken Mongolian, Oxtail Asam Pedas, Lamb Kofta and Banana Roll with Palm Sugar,” said Siva Ram, adding that the menu would be rotated daily to offer the flavours of several major towns in the east coast.
As for dessert and beverages, some of the options are chocolate pudding, Leng Chee Kang, Bubur Kacang Hijau, Bubur Durian, Bubur Lambuk, Soya Bean, Sugar Cane, Roselle, Passion Fruit, ABC and various types of traditional pastries, cakes and fresh fruits.

The buffet is available from 7pm to 10pm daily from now until July 5, priced at RM60 nett for adults and RM36 nett for children (from the ages of four to 12).
For every 10 paying diners, the next person need not pay.
Siva Ram said in view of the fasting month, a special room package of RM195 nett inclusive of a sahur meal or breakfast for two will be offered to guests.
“This applies only for superior rooms and limited to a first-come-first-served basis.”
Other promotions include Steamboat dinner at RM48 nett per person, Western and Chinese sets dinner at RM58 nett with a minimum of two adults and Buy 1 Free 1 pizza meal at RM35 nett.
