Savour the star player of Thai cuisine, the Tom Yam which is not only popular in this region but also in Europe.

There will be three types of Tom Yam served in rotation — Nam Kung or the red Tom Yam, Pok Tek or the clear Tom Yam and Tom Kar or coconut Tom Yam.

The Tom Yam soup is refreshing and not too spicy, making it enjoyable even if you are not too keen on spicy food.

Besides the Tom Yam, chef Suzanne highly recommends the Kuey Teow Ne, a beef noodle, which is a Thai favourite.

The dishes prepared by the chef and her team are aromatic and full of flavours. The heat from the chilli is tempered and would be tolerable for most Malaysians.

Some other dishes that are worth-trying are the variety of fresh Thai salad, seafood Phad Prik and Chicken Pandan.

The Thai food galore will not be complete without the delectable desserts. Luk Chup, the cute bean-based candies that are crafted like small vegetables, the water chestnut with coconut milk and glutinous rice with mango are some of the sweet delights served.

Swiss-Garden Hotel and Residences Kuala Lumpur manager Samuel Wong said the hotel regularly hosted a special cuisine presentation of a country in South-East Asia.

“We want to showcase to our local and foreign guests the variety of cuisines in this region by bringing the expertise from the respective country,” said Wong.

Diners at the buffet can also participate in the ‘Dine and Win’ contest that offers holiday vouchers worth up to RM5,000, sponsored by Tower Club Lebua Bangkok and Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam.

The buffet is available daily for lunch from 12pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm with the price starting from RM58++ per adult.
