SECRET Recipe has created a special set for two especially for Valentine’s Day this year. The dining chain will be launching its Valentine’s Special meal available until Feb 28. The set meal for this year includes a starter, main course, beverage and dessert to be shared by two.
A platter of crunchy, deep fried wontons is the perfect starter that is deliciously filled with chicken and shrimp.
Secret Recipe is featuring new dishes for the main course this year. There are three choices — Chicken Parmigiana with Potato Cubes and Garden Salad, hearty and tender Stewed Aussie Beef Steak, or healthy Mozzarella Baked Fish.
The classic Chicken Parmigiana is a good choice for those wanting something hearty and comforting. It features tender chicken thigh topped with tantalising mozzarella cheese and tomato basil sauce — a truly winning combination to rock your taste buds.
This meal is completed with sides of potato cubes and garden salad.
The Stewed Aussie Beef Steak is an excellent healthy option as it is not grilled, but stewed. Warm gravy envelopes the tender steak, with a hint of the all-time favourite black pepper sauce. This comfort dish is served with French fries, sweet peas, cauliflower and carrots.
Last but not least, the Mozzarella Baked Fish features a dory fish fillet enveloped in luxurious mozzarella cheese and garnished with cherry tomatoes.
Another healthy option, this meal is served on a freshly steamed bed of asparagus and a side serving of golden brown potato cutlets.
Refreshing: The pairing of green tea and cheese makes an aromatic oriental flavour in the Green Tea Cheese cake.The dessert, the Chocolate Lava is also among the newest additions to Secret Recipe’s line of desserts. It is a must-have for chocolate lovers — a luxurious chocolate cake with chocolate sauce in the heart, served with ice cream on top. This makes a great combo indeed.

The pairing of refreshing green tea and cheese is a great one as the distinctive taste of green tea blends surprisingly well with cheese, presenting an aromatic oriental flavour with a ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ sensation, best served after it is chilled.
The Green Tea Cheese Cake is priced at RM80++ for a whole cake, and RM6.80++ per slice. This cake is available at all Secret Recipe outlets except Sabah and Sarawak.
