HEAD to Shogun Healthy Japanese Buffet Restaurant in 1 Utama Shopping Centre for a healthy and affordable all-you-can-eat buffet.

The restaurant offers a eat-all-you-can buffet with premium ingredients. The restaurant offers over 200 types of dishes daily of mixed cuisine with over 80 types of sushi each day as well as counters with chefs who prepare the food on the spot for customers.

Besides serving Japanese food, the restaurant also offers other food in the buffet including Thai, Western, Korean and Chinese.

There are various counters offering Sushi, Teppanyaki, Tempura and Dim Sum.

The restaurant is owned by Grand Saisaki Sdn Bhd which has three different outlets in the Klang Valley.

Company managing director Datuk Michael Chong said the restaurant served a variety of dishes catering to different tastebuds.

“We want to cater for the whole family. Sometimes elderly people are not into Japanese food, for them we have Chinese dishes. Some children might prefer Korean food. We also offer some Korean food which makes the restaurant a place for the whole family,” he said.

Chong added the dishes were rotated every day to avoid repetition.

“We want to give more variety to the customers that will keep them coming back for more,” Chong said.

“Every outlet has a different head chef who oversees everything so every outlet might have a different taste,” said Chong.

For sushi, the restaurant offers their own dishes such as Futo Maki which is a purple sweet potato roll as well as Osiko Roll which is a salad rolled with pickled radish.

For those who prefer Chinese food, the restaurant offers their own Buddha Jumps Over Wall (a variety of shark fin soup).

Customers can also opt for Misoyaki which is Baked Cod Fish or Baked Japanese Snail or Braised Lamb Shank for western cuisine.

For desserts, the buffet offers assorted cakes, ice cream, and local desserts like cendol, and bubur cha cha.

The restaurant is currently having a promotion where senior citizens aged 55 and above will enjoy a 50% discount and birthday guests eat for free

The lunch buffet is priced at RM36.60++ on weekdays, RM45.75++ on Saturday and RM54.25++ on Sunday.

The dinner buffet is priced at RM44.70++ from Monday to Thursday, RM54.25++ on Friday to Saturday and RM45.75++ on Sundays.
