Chinese Dumplings by Bee Yinn Low
Recipe:
Ingredients
- 200g Minced chicken
- Cabbage
- 100g Prawns
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsp Light soya sauce
- 3 Dashes of white pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Grated ginger
- Spring onions
- Dumpling wrappers
Steps
- Boil water.
- Place minced chicken in a bowl.
- Add cabbage.
- Mix the prawns in.
- Add Sesame oil, Shaoxing Wine, soya sauce, white pepper, salt, grated ginger and chopped spring onions.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Place dumpling wrapper on palm.
- Scoop a spoonful of the mix on top
- Dab water along the edge
- Fold & press firmly.
- Place dumplings in boiling water.
- Boil till dumplings float and take out.
- Slice some ginger, and pour Chinese Black Vinegar into sauce bowl.
- Serve hot
