IF you can’t have enough Japanese food, the All-You-Can-Eat Weekend Lunch Special at Kogetsu, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur, will satisfy your cravings – all for RM99++.
The menu includes deep-fried, grilled, simmered and vinegared dishes. There is also raw fish, sushi, salad, soup, udon or soba noodles, rice, sushi roll and hand roll, teppanyaki, fried vegetables and desserts.
The dishes are freshly prepared based on orders from diners and retain their integrity of taste, flavour and presentation.
“The menu style is not too contemporary as we also maintain the traditional aspects. It is not too fancy either but we ensure that the quality of the Kanto-based recipes are good,” said Minami.
Also on the menu is tempura and grilled dishes featuring popular favourites such as Tempura Moriowase (mixed seafood and vegetables), Satoimo Agedashi Nameko Orishi (deep-fried battered Japanese yam with Pearl Mushroom) or Soft Kani Tempura (soft shell crab in batter), delicious Shishamo (grilled pregnant fish) and Gyu Shogayaki (beef sirloin with ginger sauce) and from the Teppanyaki section you can choose from a selection of beef tenderloin, chicken, salmon, scallops and prawns.
Finish on a sweet note with desserts like Macha (green tea ice cream), Zenzai (grilled glutinous rice cake with red bean), Kisetsu Kudamono (seasonal local fruit platter) and a choice of strawberry, vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
