Recipe Ingredient
- 350g mutton, cubed
- (A):
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 tbsp preserved soya paste
- 50g ginger, sliced thinly
- 2 star anise
- 6 cloves
- 3cm piece cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp oil
- Seasoning (combined):
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp beef stock granules
- 250ml water
- Thickening:
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 1/2 tsp water
Instructions
- Heat wok with oil, fry ingredients (a) until fragrant. Add in mutton and water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, then simmer until meat is cooked and tender.
- Add in seasoning and thickening. Dish out and serve immediately.
