Recipe Ingredient
- 8 chicken wings, cleaned
- Combine:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Seasoning:
- 1/2 tbsp chilli paste
- 1 piece red nam yee
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice powder (ng heong fan)
- 1 tbsp fish sauce (nampla)
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Combine all seasoning ingredients in a mixing bowl. Place chicken wings in a bowl and mix well until they are evenly coated with seasoning.
- Place chicken wings in a plastic container, cover and refrigerate for several hours or preferably, overnight.
- Arrange chicken wings on a wire rack placed in a baking tray lined with tin foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- At the end of the baking time, remove the chicken wings and brush with the honey and oil glaze, then bake the wings for five to six more minutes until they become shiny and a little charred.
