Recipe Ingredient
- 5-6 pieces chicken drumsticks
- Enough oil for deep-frying
- 100g-150g fried chicken flour (the ready-packed variety from the supermarket)
- (A) Marinade - combined:
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger juice
- Dash of pepper
- A little monosodium glutamate
Instructions
- Season and marinate chicken drumsticks with (A) for several hours or preferably overnight in the refrigerator. Just before frying, toss marinated chicken in pre-packed fried chicken flour.
- Heat enough oil in a pressure cooker until oil is just hot. Add in drumsticks and cover cooker with lid. Cook on high heat until the indicator appears.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for three to three and a half minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the indicator to return to its normal position. When the pressure has been released, open the lid and turn on the heat to high again. Cook chicken for less than a minute, then remove the chicken drumsticks. Serve the crispy chicken drumsticks immediately.
