Recipe Ingredient
- 1 pig heart
- 400g lean meat
- 10-12 red dates, seeds removed
- 15g dried longan meat
- 20g dried lotus seeds
- 2 tbsp kei chi
- 1 litre water
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Wash pig's heart and remove the blood around the blood vessels. Drain off any impurities.
- Combine all ingredients in a deep pot and simmer covered for 1½ hours.
- Top up with more liquid if necessary. Add salt to taste.
- Serve this soup piping hot.
