- 70g castor sugar
- 125ml thick coconut milk
- 25ml water
- 250g plain flour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 1 tsp meat curry powder
- A dash of ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp margarine or butter
Instructions
- Combine sugar, thick coconut milk and water in a small jug. Stir until sugar dissolves. Sift flour and rice flour into a mixing bowl. Stir in curry powder and salt to mix. Add in margarine or butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour in coconut syrup gradually. Mix into a smooth and soft dough.
- Divide dough into 4 equal round portions. Press each ball of dough onto a wooden or plastic kuih siput mould. Roll up the small pieces into a snail-like shape. Deep-fry these pieces until
- crispy and golden. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper.
