Recipe Ingredient
- 60g castor sugar
- 60ml balsamic vinegar
- 60ml water
- 3-4 basil leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a saucepan then bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer half covered until mixture turns syrupy.
- Remove from the fire and leave aside to cool slightly. Discard the basil leaves before use.
