WHILE we may not get The Kernel?s beers here in Malaysia, there are a few places around Klang Valley where you can get a good variety of craft beers that are just as good. Beer Junction
Located close to Sunway Giza, this little gem of a shop sells more than 50 different imported beers by the bottle, and is probably one of the most affordable places to get some great Belgian and English ales, as well as a variety of ciders.

Ales & Lagers
Come for the beer, stay for the company! This beer shop in Solaris Dutamas is run by a true beer geek, and stocks an eclectic menu of imported bottled beers ranging from American and Japanese craft beers, to rare European ales.

Taps Beer Bar
Yes, I?ve mentioned this bar in this column numerous times before, but that?s only because I wish there were more places like Taps around Malaysia.
It?s the only place in the country that has 14 different craft beers on tap, and there always seems to be something new on the menu every time I go there!
