The Hatten Hotel kitchen team has put together an Indonesian themed buka puasa buffet dinner for Ramadan.
The buffet spread offers plenty of salads, pickles, meat, seafood, barbecue, desserts, an assortment of hot and spicy dishes and free flow of selected drinks over three rotational menus during the fasting month.
The hotel?s marketing communication manager Violet Monterio introduced some of the many dishes during a media briefing recently.
The appetisers include Gado-Gado, Pecal Sayur Bakwan, Rojak Bandong, Bakwan Udang, Ketupat Sotong, Tauhu Isi, Ayam Suwir Malang, Pare Isi Kelapa Ikan Teri, Daging Sambal Salada, Sari Laut Santan, Botok Tempe, Karedok and Nasi Tumpeng Komplit.
For the main course, diners can try traditional Javanese cuisine like Nasi Brongkos, Ayam Penyet, Daging Opor Daging Sapi, Kambing Bakar Rica-Rica, Botok-Botok Ikan, Udang-Udang Bumbu Rojak, Sayur Campur Masak Jamur, Telur Masin Kukus and Ketam Kukus Halia.
A carving station serves slow-baked whole lamb and baked sambal sea bass.
There are also live action stalls serving a variety of sumptuous delicacies.
Diners can also enjoy a wide range of desserts, comprising local and international choices such as Chocolate Fruits Fondue, Custard Pudding, Malay and Nyonya Kuih, French Pastries, Bread and Butter Pudding, Bubur Kacang Hijau with durian, a selection of ice cream, Ice Kacang, Cendol and an assortment of Malay cookies.
Several varieties of fruit juice, tea and coffee complete the dining experience.
Live traditional ghazal entertainment (except Thursdays) will keep diners entertained.
The buffet is priced at RM68++ per adult with children below 12 years old enjoying a 40% discount. Guests can save up to RM157 when they purchase a booklet of 10 vouchers at RM631.
