Tangy Citrus Dipping Sauce Recipe by Amy Beh

 | | Click for larger image | Tangy, sweet and slightly spicy, this sauce is great in which to dip deep-fried tofu pieces garnished with cucumber shreds. Sprinkle the sauce with toasted sesame seeds for added crunch.
Ingredients
Juice of one orange 2 tbsp lemon juice 150ml water 1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium oyster sauce 3 tbsp Thai chilli sauce 1/2 tsp orange rind 1/2 tsp lemon rind 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp sugar or to taste
Thickening: 1 1/2 tsp cornflour 1 tbsp water
Method Combine all the ingredients except the thickening ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over slow and gentle heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add thickening ingredients, stirring well to blend. Leave aside to cool before serving.
