BREAK fast under the stars at The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur this Ramadan with a view of the hotel’s lake and pool.
Traditional Ghazal musicians will serenade guests from a custom-made stage over the pool.
There will be five rotating menus featuring a smorgasbord of more than 140 traditional and regional Malaysian specialities, showcasing a melting pot of both local and international flavours.
Diners can whet their appetite on a selection of more than 30 types of ulam, kerabu, soups and starter items, which include kerabu mangga muda, kerabu tempeh, traditional gado gado with rich peanut gravy,acar rampai, lemang pulut ketupat with serunding ayam or daging, Soup Tulang Gear Box and bubur lambuk.

Taste buds will also be tantalised with a medley of mouthwatering mains such as Kambing Masak Gulai Kawah, Ketam Masak Lemak Chilli Padi (top pic), Daging Rendang Tok, Gulai Masam Ikan Tenggiri with Terung Hijau, Udang Masak Tomato, Pucuk Ubi Masak Lemak Chilli Api and Daging Masak Asam.
This is accompanied by a variety of flavoured and aromatic rice such as Nasi Hujan Panas, Nasi Minyak with Kacang Hijau, Nasi Kedah and Nasi Kaseri.
Whole Roasted Lamb on a Bed of Fragrant Briyani Rice is one of the items featured on the menu.
Diners can also choose from a variety of local delights such as char koay teow, chicken rice, yong tau foo, tosai, putu mayam and ulutu vadai with an assortment of chutneys as well as murtabak, roti canai plantaand roti jala accompanied by a selection of curries.
Also featured are 15 perennial hawker stall favourites such as Whole Roasted Lamb on a Bed of Fragrant Briyani Rice, Nasi Kerabu Kukus with Rendang Ikan Tongkol, grilled items like beef and lamb kebab, satay and otak otak.
An assortment of must-try French pastries.
Other favourites available include popular Nyonya, Chinese, Japanese and Western dishes.
End the night on a sweet note with desserts like ais-kacang, raspberry agar-agar santan, dodol, bubur durian with pulut, assorted French pastries.
The Ramadan promotion is available between 7.30pm and 10.30pm until July 27.
It is priced at RM115++ for adults and RM57.50++ for children between six and 12.
