ANOTHER new year is here and if you've missed our baking workshops, fret not - they're back and better than ever.
This year, we've decided to add cooking workshops to the menu as well - alternating these with baking workshops every month, starting from March right up to August. This means that in total, there will be three sessions on baking and three sessions on cooking with the former kicking things off.
For the baking workshops, we have Chef Don Yong from MIB showing us the ropes in concocting cookie and cake creations as well as warm, fluffy bread. Meanwhile, Chef Sukor Rahim will helm the cooking workshops, sharing secrets on making mouthwatering morsels and delectable dishes.
Our latest expert has over 20 years experience in the food preparation industry and is an instructor at both MIB, Universiti Teknologi MARA's (UiTM) Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, and Victoria College.
If that isn't enough, he's also an award winner when it comes to fruit and vegetable carving, having bagged the bronze at a worldwide pumpkin carving challenge in Singapore in 2008.
The great news is that he'll be demonstrating his carving skills, often on display at international food festivals, at our very own cooking workshops!
Joining in each workshop only costs RM100 and in addition to getting to bring your own creations home, participants also get a recipe booklet, a goodie bag and the chance to win baking and cooking books.
Interested? All you have to do is register online, wait for a seat confirmation, make payment and come to the workshop.
